Holidaymakers returning from France will soon have to self-isolated following new rules announced on Thursday night.
As of 4am on Saturday, all travellers returning from France will need to quarantine for 14 days following a rise in Covid-19 cases in the country.
At the time of the announcement, an estimated 500,000 Brits were currently over there, and despite the Foreign Office not recalling travellers home immediately, there has still been a rush on tourists trying to get back to the UK.
The decision may force many who have trips booked to cancel their plans as they may not be able to secure two weeks off work when they return from their trip.
While in response to the news, some tour operators are already cancelling package holidays to France.
But where does this leave you in terms of a refund?

Can I get a refund?
In light of the announcement, package holiday providers are likely to cancel any upcoming trips to France.
easyJet have already gone ahead and scrapped all of their French holidays until the end of August.
Holidays that are cancelled by the operator allows customers to claim a full refund, although many are also offering free rebooking with an incentive.
